Designed for graduate, college and other students who have completed a
full year or 1½ years of college or university instruction in classical Greek.
Ideal for students desiring to progress toward reading more advanced Greek.
Online course in “real time.” Students log on at specific times and interact
directly with the instructor and other classmates by listening & speaking,
translating and posing questions. Take from any location or from home.
Equivalent to onesemester of college Attic Greek.

Time commitment: 9 hours/week (3 hrs/wk of live instruction
and 6hrs of outside preparation)
Meetings: Thursdays, 6:15pm –9:15pm EST.
39 hours of instruction approximate 3 semester hours.
Background of Instructor: Mr. Aramis Lopez is a PhD candidate in Classics at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). His extensive teaching includes serving as an instructor of ancient Greek, from 2012 to the present, in the intensive summer Latin/Greek Institute at the CUNY Graduate Center. Mr. Lopez has taught at Hunter College in New York, including courses on Homer, Greek & Roman Tragedy, Classical Mythology, Greek Civilization, and Greek & Latin Roots of English. He has also taught three semesters of intermediate classical Greek courses online at the Erasmus Academy.
